TPACK: Technological pedagogical content knowledge
TPACK is an educational framework proposed by Punya Mishra and Matthew Koehler. It states that for the most effective educational use of technology, it must be built on effective pedagogy and content knowledge. When all are cohesively intertwined and working together, learning and understanding occur. This video, produced by Candace Marcotte (MSU MAET grad), gives a brief and excellent summary on the TPACK framework, which is the foundation of the MAET program.

An example of my work that incorporates the TPACK framework is my Dream It proposal. It is a grant proposal I wrote for a classroom set of Chromebooks. Within my Dream It proposal, I present various ways I plan to use Chromebooks in the classroom via the TPACK framework. In the summer of 2015, I was awarded a classroom set of Chromebooks. This fall I will start implementing the plan I have devised.
